K°apertured is a name play between my name and the word Aperture. Aperture refers to the diaphragm of a camera lens and how wide opened it is. One of the key components needed in taking a great photo is properly opening or closing your aperture along with adjusting other settings. Enough with the photography lesson the name is really another way of saying “What Kelvin has seen”. I came, I saw, I Kapertured. It all fits well together because I am essentially capturing a picture.

I’ve been taking picture’s with a hand held camera for just under 5 years. If you count cell phones we could say 10 years. I was once considered a selfie pro. Just kidding hahahaha. I love taking pictures and the reason I got a pro camera was because I fantasied about getting a MK7 GTI ( for all my non-car lovers out there that is a 2015 Volkswagen Golf) and taking amazing pictures of it way before I could afford one. Well I ended up getting the car after a crazy turn of events but by the time I did I had already fallen in love with photography in general as hobbyist. 3 camera’s & a few outings later and the rest is history.
